v4.51
The Fatal Exception 0E in VxD IFSMGR caused by VxD PPPMAC rampant bug.
I get this error
message nearly every time I start Netscape Navigator and it has been running
anywhere from 2 to 10 minutes. It's an
inevitable "feature," and it makes me wonder if this is part of the
Windows FUD mechanism (Microsoft, or else).
Funny thing, though, Microsoft doesn't even work with itself! The very reason I was trying Netscape was
because I was having headaches with IE4 (IE5 seems to be doing fine, but I just
got it today, so there's never any guarantees).
The error is
probably inappropriate, but the main problem isn't the error itself--simply my
poor timing in wanting to try Netscape because from what I hear, v4.08 was
running just fine, except for a few glaring bugs... but hey, what major
application isn't without its glaring bugs?
